Product Description
What is it made from?
Each Berkshire hutch is built from real birch hardwood with cabinet-grade plywood where it adds strength and stability.
If you prefer another wood species—maple, red oak, white oak, cherry, or walnut—just reach out and we’ll review options and pricing together.
Will it fit my space?
Every Berkshire hutch is built to order, so you can choose from our popular sizes or have us match your exact measurements.
Standard depths are usually 18" on the bottom and 12" on top for that classic stepback look.
If you’re working with an alcove or a tight spot, we can adjust the dimensions. Before we start building, we’ll go over the measurements together to make sure it fits just right.
What finishes can I choose?
We offer a curated range of paints and stains designed to complement both modern and traditional New England homes. Each finish is applied by hand to bring out the wood’s natural character.
We’ll also follow up about hardware options so you can choose the style that feels right for your space — or provide your own if you prefer.
And if you’re unsure where to start, we’ll walk you through samples and suggestions to help you find the right look.
How do I care for my wood furniture?
Dust with a soft cloth, clean with mild soap and water, and avoid harsh cleaners.
Try to limit direct sunlight and use coasters or placemats.
A little everyday care keeps your wood looking great for years.
How will my furniture arrive?
We deliver your hutch ourselves — blanket-wrapped, fully assembled, and carried right into your home.
Our team handles deliveries across Massachusetts, parts of New York, and parts of New England with the same care we put into building your piece.
How long will it take?
Each Berkshire hutch is built to order, so timing depends on the finish you choose. Most finished pieces take about 10–12 weeks, and unfinished pieces are usually ready in 6–8 weeks. Once your hutch is complete, we’ll reach out to schedule delivery and keep you updated along the way.

When it fits, it feels right.
